ASANOYA is a ryokan-style hotel located in Yumura Onsen, Hyogo. The exterior of the hotel resembles a Japanese castle. The features include a relaxing onsen bathing experience and delicious Japanese meals prepared with the finest ingredients. A luxurious stay is guaranteed.

Discovered about 1150 years ago, the hot springs of Yumura Onsen daily produce 3,000 tons of 98-degree C hot water (about 2000 litters per minute). The town is well-known as the place where the writer Akira Hayasaka wrote Yumechiyo's Diary. A TV drama and film based on the story have been produced in the town.

Some of the guest rooms are equipped with outdoor tubs, which are made of 1000-year-old Hinoki trees. Warm water is supplied throughout the hotel from the hotel's own hot spring.

Asanoya provides unique hospitality following such Japanese traditions as tea ceremony, flower arrangements and incense ceremony:

・ Powdered green tea, or matcha, is served to    the guests in the lobby at their arrival.
・ The guest rooms and corridors are decorated    with flower arrangements.

・ The lobby is filled with the fragrant smell of burning incense.

If requested, traditional war garments called Jinbaori are available for you to wear during your meal.

・ Payment: We accept major credit cards, including VISA, AMEX and MasterCard.
・ Check in: 8:00pm if your reservations include dinner. Otherwise, until midnight.
・ Dinner time ends at 9:00pm.
・ Curfew: At midnight. Make an arrangement if coming back later than midnight.
・ Single guests are accepted with an extra (a half of the room rate for 2 people).
・ In-room safes are available. Also, you can leave your valuables at front desk.
・ No coin-operated lockers.
・ You may leave your luggage at front desk before check-in and after checkout.
・ The nearby convenience store is 5 minutes from the hotel on foot.
・ Nearby restaurants: Steakhouse closes at 8:00pm. Sushi bar closes at 10:00pm.    Yakiniku restaurant closes at 11:00pm.
・ Please do not bring in food and drinks.
・ Non-smoking rooms are not available.
・ Smoking area is located in the public area.
・ No shuttle service.

For the reservations made through JHN Travel, its cancellation policy applies.
For the reservations made with Asanoya directly, the following cancellation fee applies.
It is a percentage of your total accommodation fee that includes meals and taxes.
